Russia’s New Stealth Fighter

So far, the United States has been the only country to develop and fly stealth aircraft, an advantage no other air force in the world has been able to compete with. However, Russia has now developed, built, and tested it’s own stealth fighter, the PAK FA or T-50. It has the capability to compete with the U.S. F-22 “Raptor” and F-35, and looks to have an order of 60 aircraft purchased by the Russian Air Force by 2016; not to mention the HAL FGFA version being developed in cooperation between Russia and India.
Does the U.S. Air Force now have to be concerned with a fighter aircraft from Russia that can be considered the equal to the best American aircraft, a scenario not seen since the Cold War? On the positive side, Sukhoi claims the PAK FA is a candidate to be potentially exported to South Korea, an American ally. However, an export variant of the PAK FA may not be ready until 2025.
It seems in the near future, the U.S. may not be the only superpower with stealth capability.
