Meteor Explodes Over Russia

This morning on February 15th, 2013 a meteorite exploded over the Ural region inside the Russian Federation. Roughly over a thousand people have been injured so far, and many buildings in Chelyabinsk have been damaged by the explosion. The Russian Army and police have been sent to secure the area and search for impact sites, as well as maintaining civilian infrastructure and utilities.
